The Alliance for Opportunity and Development (AOD), in conjunction with our friend and former board member Jeff Coggin, contributed funds toward sending Kyren and JaVonn Holman to summer camp at Auburn University.

Kyren and JaVonn are twin brothers and rising 7th grader who participate in after-school programs at non-profit Our House in the Auburn University area. The funds went toward sending Kyren and JaVonn to the VEX IQ Challenge Camp, which took place in June 2018. At this camp, they visited engineering robotics labs and learned about robotics mechanisms and design strategies for competitive robotics. AOD is proud to collaborate with Jeff Coggin, Our House, and other donors to send Kyren and JaVonn to this robotics experience.
