The "A" in AOD stands for "Alliance". AOD is proud to collaborate in serving our community with multiple organizations and nonprofits. Examples include:

• Offering life-changing, job-training scholarships to low-income adults at institutions including J.F. Drake State Community and Technical College, Global Tech Institute, and Calhoun Community College. We have an extensive email notification list of organizations, individuals, and ministries to notify when our scholarship opportunities arise. • Inviting community employers to participate for free in our annual community career fair. We also coordinate with the Huntsville Housing Authority, local Human Resources professionals, and others to offer resume and interview workshops prior to each career fair.
• Sending kids to science and technology day camps offered by the U.S. Space and Rocket Center, Sci-Quest, and Mindgear Labs.
• Offering career readiness workshops to youth and adults in the East Central Alabama area to groups such as Our House in Auburn and the Christian Women's Job Corps.
• Conducting joint fundraisers with groups such as the Alabama Non-Violent Offenders Organization (ANVOO) and Best Hope for US.
