Thank you to Modern Technology Solutions Inc (MTSI) for being the presenting sponsor at our May 2018 golf fundraiser!  Their donation made it possible for us to award two $1,500 pipe welding scholarships.  Pictured are pipe welding scholarship recipients Alec Johnston (left) and Ryan Holden (right).  In the center is Mr. Calvin "Hollywood" Washington who is the founder and director of Global Tech Institute in Decatur, AL.  Both Alec and Ryan are hard working students who have already completed the structural welding training at Global Tech Institute.  They are both employed as welders during the day and take pipe welding classes in the evenings.  They expect to complete their training and become certified as pipe welders in early 2019.  Congratulations to both!
